Suzanne Birt (Summerside, PEI) won 10-3 over Andrea Kelly (Fredericton, NB) in the Final of the Jim Sullivan Curling Classic, held November 24 - 27, 2022 at the Capital Winter Curling Club in Fredericton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Birt won 7-3 over Jessica Daigle (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2022 Jim Sullivan Curling Classic in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada;
 
Birt finished 4-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birt defeated Lauren Price (Moncton, NB) 11-4, then won 8-1 against New Brunswick's Laurie Dohaher and 7-5 against Melodie Forsythe (Moncton, NB). Birt won 9-2 against Jaclyn Crandall (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Jim Sullivan Curling Classic Championship title, Birt earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 43rd place overall with 89.554 total points. Birt ranks 42nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 51.125 points earned so far this season.
