In their opening game, Craik defeated Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS) 6-4, then won 9-5 against Hayato Sato (Sapporo, JPN) and 9-1 against John Epping (Toronto, ON). Craik won 7-2 against Simon Hebert (Valleyfield, QC). Craik went on to lose 7-3 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.
