Kitazawa finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kitazawa defeated Kelsey Boyd (Montreal, QC) 11-0, then won 9-7 against Lauren Mann (Timmins, NONT). Kitazawa went on to lose 7-4 against Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR). Kitazawa lost 7-4 to Armstrong where Kitazawa responded with a 8-3 win over Stephanie Senneker (Port Huron, MI). Kitazawa won 8-6 against Laurie St-Georges (Montreal, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
Kitazawa earned 19.125 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the North Grenville Women's Fall Curling Classic.
