James Craik (Forfar, SCO) qualified for the 2024 Aberdeen International Curling Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-3 against John Shuster (Duluth , MN). of the 2024 Aberdeen International Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland, Scotland;
 
Craik finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Craik defeated Cameron Bryce (Border, SCO) 8-2, then won 6-4 against Ross Craik (Stirling, SCO) and 6-1 against Giacomo Colli (Cortina d’Ampezzo, ITA). Craik won 7-6 against Benny Kapp (Fuessen, GER). Craik went on to lose 5-4 against Glen Muirhead (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Craik earned 16.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Aberdeen International Curling Championship. For week 34 of the event schedule, Craik did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 12th place on the World Ranking Standings with 199.750 total points. Craik ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 199.750 points earned so far this season.
