In their opening game, Pougher lost 8-6 to Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT), droppimg another game, 15-6 to Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR) where Pougher responded with a 13-3 win over Lukas Matt (Liechtenstein, LIE). Pougher went on to lose 11-2 against Rob Retchless (Preston, ENG). Pougher responded with a 8-2 win over Juraj Gallo (Bratislava, SVK). Pougher won 7-6 against Ireland's John Wilson. Pougher went on to lose 10-7 against Gontzal Garcia (San Sebastian, ESP) in their final qualifying round match.
Pougher earned 1.125 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 18 of the event schedule, Pougher did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Pougher ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
