Christina Black (Halifax, NS) lost 5-4 to Heather Smith (Halifax, NS) in the Final of the Nova Scotia Scotties, held January 17 - 21, 2024 at the Halifax Curling Club in Halifax, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Black won 11-7 over Mackenzie Mitchell (Halifax, NS) in the semifinals of the 2024 Nova Scotia Scotties in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada;

Black finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Black defeated Allyson MacNutt (Halifax, NS) 11-4, then won 9-4 against Kristen MacDiarmid (Halifax, NS) and 9-4 against Jessica Daigle (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Nova Scotia Scotties, Black take home 8.250 world rankings points. For week 26 of the event schedule, Black did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 176th to 177th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 5.156 total points. Black ranks 163rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.875 points earned so far this season.
