Chang went on to lose 7-6 against Abylay Zhuzbay (Almaty, KAZ). Chang responded with a 10-2 win over Nasser Alyafei (Doha, QAT). Chang won 9-2 against P.N. Raju (Hyderabad, IN). Chang went on to lose 9-4 against Pfister. Chang responded with a 10-5 win over Jonathan Vargas (San Juan, PR) in their final qualifying round match.

With their third place finish at the Pan-Continental Championships -- B-Division, Chang earn 2.250 world rankings points. For week 14 of the event schedule, Chang did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Chang ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
