Richardson finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Richardson lost 8-2 to Gary Rowe (Ottawa, ON), then responded with a 7-4 win over Ron Hrycak (Ottawa, ON). Richardson won 8-7 against Guy Hemmings (Montreal, QC), then won 7-5 against Matt Paul (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Richardson earned 5.000 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Mac Ice Classic. For week 8 of the event schedule, Richardson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Richardson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
