Dangerfield lost 8-7 to Jason Montgomery (Duncan, BC) where Dangerfield responded with a 6-5 win over Josh Hozack (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Dangerfield earned 1.200 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Vancouver Island Shootout, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 98th place overall with 15.685 total points. Dangerfield ranks 141st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 2.175 points earned so far this season.
