Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2013 Canad Inns Prairie Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Mike McEwen (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2013 Canad Inns Prairie Classic in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba, Canada;

Stoughton finished 5-2 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stoughton lost 5-4 to Evgeniy Arkhipov (Moscow, RUS), then responded with a 5-4 win over Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Stoughton won 5-1 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Stoughton went on to lose 6-4 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, ON). Stoughton responded with a 6-2 win over Rui Liu (Harbin, CHN). Stoughton won 6-3 against Richard Daneault (Winnipeg, MB), then won 7-4 against John Shuster (Duluth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Stoughton earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Canad Inns Prairie Classic, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 338.350 total points. Stoughton ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 95.000 points earned so far this season.
