Challenge Chateau Cartier de Gatineau qualifying round, held October 24 - 27, 2013 at the Buckingham Curling Club in Buckingham, Canada. In their opening game, Kochan defeated Philippe Lemay (Trois-Rivieres, PQ) 10-7, then went on to lose 5-3 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL). Kochan lost 6-2 to Don Bowser (Ottawa, ON). Kochan lost 7-2 to Greg Richardson (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week 11 of the event schedule, Kochan did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 111th to 119th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 7.981 total points. Kochan ranks 80th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.000 points earned so far this season.
