Jacobson finished 2-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jacobson lost 4-3 to Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK), droppimg another game, 5-1 to Terry Marteniuk (Yorkton, SK) where Jacobson responded with a 7-3 win over Sean Grassie (Winnipeg, MB). Jacobson won 8-2 against William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Whites Drug Store Classic, Jacobson take home 8.925 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN prize, moving up 10 spots the World Ranking Standings into 40th place overall with 38.999 total points. Jacobson ranks 48th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 13.775 points earned so far this season.
