Thomas Ulsrud (Oslo, NOR) won 6-3 over Oskar Eriksson (Lit, SWE) in the Final of the Swiss Cup Basel, held October 3 - 6, 2013 in Basel, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, Ulsrud won 5-4 over Peter de Cruz (Geneva, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2013 Swiss Cup Basel in Basel, Switzerland; and won 7-3 over Sven Michel (Adelboden, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Swiss Cup Basel in Basel, Switzerland;
 
Ulsrud finished 4-0 in the 40-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ulsrud defeated Christian Moser (Uitikon, SUI) 7-1, then won 7-6 against Andrey Drozdov (Moscow, RUS) and 5-3 against Marcus Hasselborg (Sundsvall, SWE). Ulsrud won 9-3 against Italy's Simone Gonin in their final qualifying round match.
