Shannon Birchard (Winnipeg, MB) lost 6-5 to Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the Manitoba Junior Womens Championship, held December 26 - 31, 2014 at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada.

Birchard finished 7-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birchard defeated Kaitlyn Payette (Brandon, MB) 10-2, then won 9-1 against Hanne Jensen (Dauphin, MB) and 12-3 against Stacy Sime (Dauphin, MB). Birchard won 9-2 against Ashley Groff (Elmwood, MB), then won 7-5 against Jennifer Klapp (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-0 against Rachel Burtnyk (Winnipeg, MB). Birchard won 9-8 against Christine MacKay (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Birchard did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Birchard ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
