To advance to the championship game, Lawton won 4-2 over Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2015 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 5-2 over Jamie Sinclair (Blaine, USA) in the quarterfinals. of the 2015 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;

Lawton finished 4-1 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawton lost 7-2 to Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB), then responded with a 7-5 win over Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI). Lawton won 8-4 against Sarah Wark (Victoria, BC), then won 5-2 against Un-Chi Gim (gyeonggido, KOR) and 4-3 against Carey in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic Championship title, Lawton earned 49.316 world rankings points along with the $8,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 20th place overall with 133.790 total points. Lawton ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 85.333 points earned so far this season.
