Sean Matheson (Kelowna, BC) finished 1-3 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Matheson lost 10-8 to Will House (Richmond, BC), droppimg another game, 5-3 to Matt Tolley (Kelowna, BC) where Matheson responded with a 10-7 win over Justin Umpherville (Fruitvale, BC). Matheson went on to lose 9-1 against Tolley in their final qualifying round match.

Matheson earned 0.131 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 527th place overall with 0.262 total points. Matheson ranks 470th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.262 points earned so far this season.
