Andris Bremanis (Riga, LAT) finished 2-3 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bremanis defeated Switzerland's Somon Studer 6-3, then went on to lose 7-4 against Kristian Foss (Oslo, NOR). Bremanis lost 7-4 to Jorgen Myran (Oslo, NOR) where Bremanis responded with a 8-2 win over Olav Kringebotn (Hedmarken, NOR). Bremanis went on to lose 7-2 against David Baird (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
