Auld responded with a 7-6 win over Heggestad in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Scotties Qualifier West, Auld take home 6.930 world rankings points, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 39th place overall with 152.548 total points.
