Scheidegger finished 3-1 in the 15 team HDF Insurance Shoot-Out qualifying round, held September 6 - 9, 2018 at the Saville Sports Centre in Edmonton, Canada. In their opening game, Scheidegger lost 7-5 to Karynn Flory (Edmonton, AB), then responded with a 7-5 win over Sherry Anderson (Saskatoon, SK). Scheidegger won 7-3 against Janais DeJong (), then won 7-2 against Allison Flaxey (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the HDF Insurance Shoot-Out Championship title, Scheidegger earned 40.045 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 4 of the event schedule, Scheidegger did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Scheidegger ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
