Klymchuk finished 2-1 in the 12 team Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic qualifying round, held September 28 - 30, 2018 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. In their opening game, Klymchuk lost 8-1 to Dunstone, then responded with a 7-3 win over Brayden Carpenter (New Westminster, BC). Klymchuk won 5-4 against Deane Horning (Castlegar, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
