Dunstone finished 3-0 in the 12 team Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic qualifying round, held September 28 - 30, 2018 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Klymchuk 8-1, then won 10-1 against Deane Horning (Castlegar, BC) and 6-2 against Brayden Carpenter (New Westminster, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic Championship title, Dunstone earned 23.495 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 18th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 2.752 after improving upon their best so far this season. Dunstone ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 54.317 points earned so far this season.
