In their opening game, Fujisawa lost 6-5 to Jennifer Dodds (Stirling, SCO), droppimg another game, 7-4 to Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) where Fujisawa responded with a 7-2 win over Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN). Fujisawa won 7-5 against Dodds, then won 7-2 against Hasselborg. Fujisawa went on to lose 5-4 against Liu in their final qualifying round match.
