Advancing directly to the semifinals, Carey won 7-1 over Alina Kovaleva (Saint-Petersburg , RUS) to advance to the championship game. of the 2019 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; of the 2019 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Carey finished 4-1 in the 17-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carey lost 8-3 to Brette Richards (Kelowna, BC), then responded with a 5-4 win over Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC). Carey won 7-4 against Morgayne Eby (Vernon, BC), then won 10-2 against Mariah Coloumbe (Victoria, BC) and 11-0 against Miki Hayashi (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, Carey take home 29.055 world rankings points along with the $5,000CDN prize, remaining in 6th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -3.302 after improving upon their best so far this season. Carey ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 71.120 points earned so far this season.
