Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) lost 7-5 to John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the ATB Banff Classic, held December 17 - 19, 2021 at the Banff Curling Club in Banff, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Koe won 7-3 over Dallan Muyres (Fox Valley, SK) in the semifinals of the 2021 ATB Banff Classic in Banff, Alberta, Canada;

Koe finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe defeated Evan van Amsterdam (Calgary, AB) 7-2, then won 8-2 against Colton Flasch (Saskatoon, SK). Koe went on to lose 6-2 against Epping. Koe responded with a 7-3 win over van Amsterdam. Koe won 8-1 against Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the ATB Banff Classic, Koe take home 32.007 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN prize. For week 21 of the event schedule, Koe did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 4th place on the World Ranking Standings with 353.804 total points. Koe ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 214.999 points earned so far this season.
