Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) lost 5-3 to Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN) in the Final of the Co-op Canadian Open, held January 10 - 15, 2023 in Camrose, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Einarson won 8-2 over Isabella Wrana (Sundbyberg , SWE) in the semifinals of the 2023 Co-op Canadian Open in Camrose, Alberta; and won 7-2 over Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 Co-op Canadian Open in Camrose, Alberta;
 
Einarson finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Einarson defeated Meghan Walter (Winnipeg, MB) 8-2, then won 7-1 against Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB). Einarson went on to lose 5-4 against Fujisawa. Einarson lost 5-3 to Homan where Einarson responded with a 13-4 win over Raphaela Keiser (St. Moritz, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Co-op Canadian Open, Einarson take home 55.000 world rankings points along with the $20,000CDN prize, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 33.75 after improving upon their best so far this season. Einarson ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 284.750 points earned so far this season.
