Brown finished 3-1 in the 11-team qualifying round. . . Brown won 9-5 against Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Kamloops Crown of Curling Championship title, Brown earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque. Brown move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 9.937 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 30th overall with 108.168 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
