Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) won 7-3 over Magnus Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR) in the Final of the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard, held September 29 - October 2, 2022 at the High Park Club in Toronto, . To advance to the championship game, Edin won 5-4 over Yannick Schwaller (Geneva, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2022 Stu Sells Toronto Tankard in Toronto; and won 8-2 over Yves Stocker (Zug, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Stu Sells Toronto Tankard in Toronto;

Edin finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Edin lost 8-7 to Stuart Thompson (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 8-5 win over Michael Fournier (Toronto, ON). Edin won 5-4 against Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS), then won 7-4 against Ramsfjell in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard Championship title, Edin earned 41.250 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 38.625 after improving upon their best so far this season. Edin ranks 3rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 78.750 points earned so far this season.
