Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the 2022 DEKALB Superspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-2 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB).

Calvert finished 3-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Calvert defeated Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) 8-3, then went on to lose 4-2 against Dunstone. Calvert won 6-3 against Tommy Sullivan (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
