Jace Freeman (Virden, MB) lost 4-3 to Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MJCT Tour Championship, held January 6 - 8, 2023 at the Heather Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Freeman won 5-3 over Luke Robins (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals

Freeman finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Freeman defeated Tanner Graham (Winnipeg, MB) 9-4, then won 6-3 against Ronan Peterson (Winnipeg, MB) and 9-6 against Jonathan Kostna (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week 23 of the event schedule, Freeman did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Freeman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
