Thomas Nordgren (Falu, SWE) qualified for the 2023 Swedish Curling Championships playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Axel Landelius (MjÃ¶lby, SWE). of the 2023 Swedish Curling Championships in Karlstad, Sweden;

Nordgren finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Nordgren defeated Emil Markusson (Ostersund, SWE) 1-0, then went on to lose 8-2 against Oskar Eriksson (Karlstad, SWE). Nordgren lost 7-3 to Joel Westerberg (Sundbyberg, SWE) where Nordgren responded with a 8-6 win over Anders Westerberg (Sundbyberg, SWE). Nordgren won 7-4 against Johan Hakansson (Karlstad, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Nordgren earned 10.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Swedish Curling Championships. For week 27 of the event schedule, Nordgren did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Nordgren ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
