Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) qualified for the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-3 against Honoka Sasaki (Kitami, JPN). of the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major in Beaumont, Alberta, Canada;

Tabata finished 3-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tabata defeated Sasaki 4-2, then went on to lose 6-5 against Satsuki Fujisawa (Kitami, JPN). Tabata responded with a 11-2 win over Jessica Wytrychowski (Edmonton, AB). Tabata won 7-6 against Rui Wang (Beijing, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

Tabata earned 12.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Hack2House Alberta Curling Series Major. For week 9 of the event schedule, Tabata did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 52nd to 54th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 58.575 total points. Tabata ranks 31st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 25.500 points earned so far this season.
