Bobae Kang (Songhyun, KOR) finished 2-6 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kang defeated Minjae Jung (Uiseong, KOR) 7-4, then went on to lose 13-6 against Seungyoun Ha (Chuncheon, KOR). Kang lost 10-3 to Seojin Park (Bongmyeong, KOR) where Kang responded with a 7-4 win over Youbeen Park (Seoul, KOR). Kang went on to lose 7-6 against Minseo Kim (Gyeongbuk, KOR). Kang lost 9-3 to Eun ji Gim (Gyeonggido, KOR). Kang lost 7-2 to Eunjung Kim (Gangneung, KOR). Kang lost 8-6 to Jisoo Kim (Jeonbuk, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Kang earned 3.000 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. Kang gained 6.563 points improving upon their best 2 events, though dropped 163 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 163rdplace overall with 6.563 total points. Kang ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.000 points earned so far this season.
