Kristof Czermann (Budapest, HUN) finished 2-5 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Czermann lost 10-7 to Eddy Mercier (Megeve, FRA), droppimg another game, 10-3 to Timothy Verreycken (Zemst, BEL). Czermann lost 6-5 to Mikkel Krause (Hvidovre, DEN) where Czermann responded with a 10-4 win over Eduard Veltsman (Tallinn, EST). Czermann went on to lose 8-3 against Konrad Stych (Warsaw, POL). Czermann lost 13-7 to Martins Truksans (Riga, LAT) where Czermann responded with a 10-2 win over Chris Ribau (Lisbon, POR) in their final qualifying round match.

Czermann earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 20 spots the World Ranking Standings into 281st place overall with 3.562 total points. Czermann ranks 325th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 0.750 points earned so far this season.
