In their opening game, Duncan defeated Cathy Auld (Kingston, ON) 6-4, then went on to lose 7-6 against Carly Howard (Toronto, ON). Duncan responded with a 9-7 win over Isabelle Ladouceur (Whitby, ON). Duncan won 8-0 against Chelsea Brandwood (Listowel, ON) to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 8-3 against Howard to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they lost 8-7 to Ladouceur in their final qualifying round match.

Duncan earned 2.813 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 55th place overall with 59.891 total points. Duncan ranks 55th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 46.938 points earned so far this season.
