Dave Elias (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-3 over Randy Bryden (Regina, SK) in the Final of the Point Optical Curling Classic, held November 26 - 29, 2010 at the Nutana Curling Club in Saskatoon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Elias won 8-6 over Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) in the semifinals of the 2010 Point Optical Curling Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and won 7-2 over Brent Pierce (New Westminster, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2010 Point Optical Curling Classic in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada;
 
Elias finished 5-1 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Elias defeated Jerod Roland (Minot, ND) 6-0, then went on to lose 6-5 against Al Schick (Regina, SK). Elias responded with a 8-6 win over Brad Law (Regina, SK). Elias won 6-5 against Bryden, then won 5-4 against Carl deConinck Smith (Rosetown, SK) and 6-2 against Brent Bawel (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Point Optical Curling Classic Championship title, Elias earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $15,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 12 of the event schedule, Elias did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Elias ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
