Brown won 7-2 against Lisa Farnell (Chaffey's Locks, ON), then won 9-4 against Auld in their final qualifying round match.
 
Brown earned 4.125 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the StuSells Toronto Tankard, dropping 2 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 36th place overall with 35.315 total points. Brown ranks 34th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.925 points earned so far this season.
