MacKenzie lost 7-6 to Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK). MacKenzie lost 9-6 to James Grattan (Oromocto, NB). MacKenzie lost 11-4 to John Epping (Toronto, ON) where MacKenzie responded with a 14-2 win over Dave St. Louis (Iqaluit, NU) in their final qualifying round match.
