Mei finished 7-5 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mei defeated Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) 9-3, then won 10-2 against Oona Kauste (Aland, FIN) and 10-7 against Sophie Jackson (Stirling, SCO). Mei won 6-5 against Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Riga, LAT), then won 8-4 against Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN). Mei went on to lose 9-7 against Alina Kovaleva (Saint-Petersburg, RUS). Mei lost 10-7 to Jamie Sinclair (Chaska, USA) where Mei responded with a 11-9 win over Min Ji Kim (Chuncheon City, KOR). Mei went on to lose 6-4 against Seina Nakajima (Nagano, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Mei earned 33.428 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the LGT World Women's Curling Championship.
