Strouse finished 4-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Strouse defeated Meghan Walter (Winnipeg, MB) 7-4, then won 7-6 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). Strouse went on to lose 7-1 against Clancy Grandy (Vancouver, BC). Strouse responded with a 7-3 win over Kelsey Rocque (Edmobnton, AB). Strouse won 10-5 against Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Strouse earned 16.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel, remaining in 48th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 8 after improving upon their best so far this season.
