Clancy Grandy (Vancouver, BC) qualified for the 2023 DEKALB Superspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB).

Grandy finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grandy defeated Jisu Kim (Seoul, KOR) 6-3, then went on to lose 5-4 against Gray-Withers. Grandy lost 7-3 to Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) where Grandy responded with a 8-1 win over Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB). Grandy won 7-1 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg , MB) to advance to the C-Qualifier where they 4-3 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

Grandy earned 13.500 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel. Grandy gained -13.734 points improving upon their best 6 events, though dropped 6 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 25thplace overall with 149.203 total points. Grandy ranks 37th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 67.500 points earned so far this season.
