To advance to the championship game, Schwaller won 9-2 over Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2023 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; and won 8-1 over Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI) in the quarterfinals. of the 2023 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;
Schwaller finished 5-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schwaller defeated Ariel Traxler (Fairbanks , AK) 9-5, then went on to lose 7-3 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg , MB). Schwaller responded with a 7-2 win over Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB). Schwaller won 7-6 against Krista McCarville (Thunder Bay, NONT), then won 9-1 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 8-7 against Delaney Strouse (Traverse City, MI) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the DEKALB Superspiel Championship title, Schwaller earned 33.750 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque. Schwaller move up 6 spots after posting a net gain of 22.719 points improving upon their best 6 results so far this season, ranking 22nd overall with 153.969 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
