Connolly won 9-0 against Mason Guentzel (Saint Paul, MN). Connolly went on to lose 7-3 against Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN). Connolly responded with a 7-2 win over Darryl Sobering (Denver, CO) in their final qualifying round match.
