Christine McMakin (Fargo, ND) qualified for the 2024 DEKALB Superspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-1 against Bobae Kang (Jeonbuk, KOR). of the 2024 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;

McMakin finished 3-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McMakin defeated Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB) 9-4, then won 9-0 against Kim Rhyme (Minneapolis, MN). McMakin went on to lose 7-6 against Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB). McMakin lost 6-4 to Eunjung Kim (Gangneung , KOR) where McMakin responded with a 5-3 win over Allory Johnson (Blaine, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

McMakin earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the DEKALB Superspiel. For week 17 of the event schedule, McMakin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McMakin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
