Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) won 6-4 over Barb Spencer (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final To advance to the championship game, Robertson won 7-6 over Janet Harvey (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2012 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; and won 7-3 over Kate Cameron (Stonewall, MB) in the quarterfinals.
Robertson finished 3-2 in the 16 team DEKALB Superspiel qualifying round, held November 22 - 25, 2012 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. In their opening game, Robertson lost 10-7 to Deb McCreanor (La Salle, MB), then responded with a 8-5 win over Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB). Robertson won 6-4 against Colleen Kilgallen (Pinawa, MB). Robertson went on to lose 6-2 against Harvey. Robertson responded with a 6-4 win over Michelle Montford (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the DEKALB Superspiel Championship title, Robertson earned 5.500 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 47th place overall with 27.995 total points. Robertson ranks 52nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.150 points earned so far this season.
