Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) won 6-1 over Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Players' Championship, held April 9 - 14, 2019 in Toronto, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Bottcher won 7-4 over Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2019 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; and won 7-5 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario;
 
Bottcher finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bottcher defeated Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI) 6-5, then went on to lose 7-4 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Bottcher lost 8-3 to Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) where Bottcher responded with a 7-6 win over Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK). Bottcher won 7-1 against John Epping (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Players' Championship Championship title, Bottcher earned 85.362 world rankings points along with the $30,000CDN first prize cheque. Bottcher move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 68.021 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 2nd overall with 440.448 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
