To advance to the championship game, Koe won 9-5 over Korey Dropkin (Chaska, USA) in the semifinals of the 2019 Stu Sells Toronto Tankard in Toronto; and won 8-7 over Michael Fournier (Montreal, QC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Stu Sells Toronto Tankard in Toronto;

Koe finished 4-2 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Koe lost 5-2 to Ross Whyte (Stirling, SCO), then responded with a 7-3 win over John Willsey (Waterloo, ON). Koe won 8-2 against John Epping (Toronto, ON), then won 8-7 against Jacobs to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 7-4 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they responded with a 8-3 win over Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Stu Sells Toronto Tankard, Koe take home 42.985 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN prize, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of -8.249 after improving upon their best so far this season.
