Duncan finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Duncan defeated Rachel Workin (Fargo, ND) 5-4, then went on to lose 9-8 against Amber Holland (Kronau, SK). Duncan responded with a 6-5 win over Madison Bear (Chaska, MN). Duncan went on to lose 7-2 against Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB). Duncan responded with a 7-4 win over Mackenzie Zacharias (Altona, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
