Iva Penava (Zagreb, CRO) finished 4-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Penava lost 8-6 to Lydia Valles (San-Sebastian, ESP), droppimg another game, 8-4 to Miia Ahrenberg (Hyvinkaa, FIN) where Penava responded with a 9-4 win over Laura Beever (Queensferry, WAL). Penava won 8-4 against Allison Brageul (Lyon, FRA). Penava went on to lose 11-3 against Ireland's Ailsa Anderson. Penava responded with a 7-5 win over Anastasia Kotova (Kyiv, UKR). Penava won 3-2 against Caro van Oosterwyck (Zemst, BEL) in their final qualifying round match.

Penava earned 1.350 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 119 spots the World Ranking Standings into 226th place overall with 1.350 total points. Penava ranks 226th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.350 points earned so far this season.
