Michele Jaggi (Bern, SUI) lost 3-2 to Barb Spencer (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the DEKALB Superspiel, held November 21 - 24, 2013 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Jaggi won 5-4 over Joelle Brown (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2013 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-3 over Michelle Montford (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Jaggi finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jaggi defeated Deb McCreanor (La Salle, MB) 6-1, then won 6-4 against Kerri Einarson (Winnipeg, MB) and 9-3 against Karen Fallis (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the DEKALB Superspiel, Jaggi take home 4.550 world rankings points along with the $4,800CDN prize, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 9th place overall with 180.275 total points. Jaggi ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 105.780 points earned so far this season.
