Allison Flaxey (Winnipeg, MB) won 7-5 over Jennifer Clark-Rouire (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the DEKALB Superspiel, held November 2 - 5, 2018 at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Flaxey won 8-7 over Amber Holland (Regina, SK) in the semifinals of the 2018 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada; and won 4-3 over Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 DEKALB Superspiel in Morris, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Flaxey finished 3-1 in the 19-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Flaxey defeated Rachel Burtnyk (Winnipeg, MB) 7-0, then won 7-4 against Watling. Flaxey went on to lose 6-2 against Clark-Rouire. Flaxey responded with a 7-6 win over Elena Stern (Oberwallis , SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the DEKALB Superspiel Championship title, Flaxey earned 40.541 world rankings points along with the $8,000CDN first prize cheque. Flaxey move up 2 spots after posting a net gain of 22.991 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 15th overall with 231.343 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Flaxey ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 108.494 points earned so far this season.
